Since few organizations are working with girls, PLCC’s aim is to help the physically vulnerable smaller girls.
The girls targeted for help by PLCC face problems such as:
- Drug abuse and Prostitution
- Lack of school fees
- Lack of security
- Lack of shelter
- Lack of good health
- Lack of parental care (orphans)
- Lack of food
- Lack of spiritual guidance

Activities
1.Education:
- Informal Education
- Nursery School ( run by the Women's Department of KELC)
- Primary and Secondary School
- Vocational Training( dressmaking, tailoring and catering)
- Training for the needs of daily living, i.e. washing, cleaning, cooking, Knitting and mending clothes
2.Songs, bible teaching and drama
3. Outdoor activities
4.Parents/guardians seminars |
